Google Chrome - How to disable the spell-checker

The goal of this small article is to explain how to disable the built-in spell checker of Google Chrome.

Method 1:

  • Right-click in a text field > Spell-checker options.
  • Untick "Check the spelling of text fields".

Method 2:

  • Type the following URL in the address bar and press enter:
    • chrome://flags/
  • Scroll to "Enable Automatic Spelling Correction".
  • Disable this feature.
