Mac OS X - Show all filename extensions

You can configure the Finder of Mac OS X to automatically display the filename extensions. The procedure is as follows:
  • Click on the Finder menu > Preferences.
  • Go to the Advanced tab.
  • Check "Show all filename extensions".
