How To Download Your Own Videos from YouTube

Here's a simple trick on how to retrieve the MP4 version of the videos published on your YouTube channel—no third-party software is required. You can download your own YouTube videos, edit them offline, share them on other streaming platforms, or simply keep them for future reference.

Download the MP4 Version of Your YouTube Videos

Sign in to your YouTube account and click on your profile picture located top-right > Creator Studio. Go to the Video Manager section and select the desired video. Click the arrow next to the Edit button and then select Download MP4:
Select a location to save the file and click on OK.
