VirtualBox - How to re-assign the the Host key

By default VirtualBox will define the Right CTRL key as Host Key, making it almost unusable when testing other operating system on your PC (with the guest OS).
In this page you will learn how to re-assign the host key!
  • Open VirtualBox.
  • Click on the File Menu > Preferences.
  • Go to Input.
  • Clear the Host Key field.
  • Enter a new key and click on OK.
    • Select a key your rarely use ..e.g Scroll lock
