Old video games like
Metal Gear Solid can be run on new systems based on operating systems like Windows Vista. Generally users can install the game smoothly but face some
errors while launching the game, e.g. they might get a message that the game does not run in the hardware mode or they may even get a temporary black screen on the computer. To launch the
Metal Gear Solid game in Windows Vista one has to run the game in
compatibility mode option, and from there
Windows should be set to 98 or 2000.
