LinkedIn - How to Hide your Public Profile

When someone searches for your name on Google, Bing or any other search engine, it is most likely that the links to your social accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+...) will be displayed among top results. You don't want people to collect information about your professional life? This article explains how to prevent your LinkedIn profile from appearing in search engine results:

First connect to your LinkedIn account. Click on Account & Settings and then on Privacy & Settings:


Go to Privacy Controls and click on Edit your public profile:


Select Make my public profile visible to no one and click on Save:
