How to Disable Controller Vibration on the Xbox One

If you are wondering how to turn off controller vibration on your new Xbox One console, well there's no such option available in the console settings.

On the Xbox 360, controller vibration could be easily turned off by going to the Settings menu > Preferences > Vibration, which was quite useful to improve your aim in FPS games or save battery on your controller. But this feature seems to be missing on the Xbox One and unfortunately the latest system update (6.2.13194.0) released on July 7, 2015 didn't fix this issue.

Some games allow you to turn off or reduce controller vibration via an in game setting (usually found in the Gameplay or Controller menu), it may be worth spending some of your time checking for the presence of such option.
