YouTube - How to View Video Stats

Here's how to get some technical information about videos you watch on YouTube. You can, for example, get information about the connection speed, current frame rate, video and audio format and much more. The procedure is as follows:

Right-click on the video playback screen and then select Stats for nerds:

The stats menu opens. All the information you need is listed there:

Stats have been disabled by default on the YouTube mobile app, but you can easily remedy to this situation:

Open the YouTube app and then from the Home menu, tap on the Menu button > Settings. Go to General settings and then tick the Enable stats for nerds checkbox:

Go back to the Home menu and open a video to try this new feature. Tap the Menu button displayed at the top of the video playback screen. The Stats menu is now available:
