Windows XP update refuse to install

It may happen that updates to your system might refuse to install due to error in file system 32. System32 is an important tool for windows OS. However this file is very vulnerable to Trojan, malware and virus who implanted in it and can get easily corrupt.

If windows refuse to install update on your system, click on Menu Start and select Run

Type cmdin the open window.
  • Then type below command in MS-DOS:
  • Del c:\Windows\System32\CatRoot2\edb.log.
  • Finally relaunch windows update.
