Apple Music was released on
July 30, 2015 and if you were among the first users to have subscribed to the music streaming service, then it's most likely that your free trial membership is bound to end by the
1st of October.
At the end of this free trial period, Apple Music will automatically switch to a paid membership, which means that
$9.99 /14.99 will be deducted each month from your credit card. Do you wish to pursue with Apple Music once you free trial expires? If the answer is
no, then it might be useful to learn how to turn off
Automatic Renewal feature of Apple Music.
Open
iTunes and sign-in with your
Apple ID. Click on your name, select
Account info from the drop down menu and when prompted enter your password again. Scroll to the
Settings section and then click on the
Manage button displayed next to
Subscriptions.
Choose your
Apple Music subscription and set
Automatic Renewal to
Off. Click on
Done to apply your new settings.
That's it; Apple Music will close your subscription at the end of your 3 month trial period.
Go to
Settings >
iTunes & App Store and then tap on your
Apple ID. Select
View Apple ID >
Subscriptions >
Manage. Select your Apple Music subscription from the list and then turn off
Automatic Renewal.
