How to Unsubscribe from Apple Music

Apple Music was released on July 30, 2015 and if you were among the first users to have subscribed to the music streaming service, then it's most likely that your free trial membership is bound to end by the 1st of October.

At the end of this free trial period, Apple Music will automatically switch to a paid membership, which means that $9.99 /14.99 will be deducted each month from your credit card. Do you wish to pursue with Apple Music once you free trial expires? If the answer is no, then it might be useful to learn how to turn off Automatic Renewal feature of Apple Music. Open iTunes and sign-in with your Apple ID. Click on your name, select Account info from the drop down menu and when prompted enter your password again. Scroll to the Settings section and then click on the Manage button displayed next to Subscriptions.

Choose your Apple Music subscription and set Automatic Renewal to Off. Click on Done to apply your new settings.

That's it; Apple Music will close your subscription at the end of your 3 month trial period. Go to Settings > iTunes & App Store and then tap on your Apple ID. Select View Apple ID > Subscriptions > Manage. Select your Apple Music subscription from the list and then turn off Automatic Renewal.
