Apple's virtual assistant Siri, is a very useful tool when you need to solve a problem immediately such as finding a phone number, ordering a taxi or perform an urgent internet search. Siri can also be useful for completing many tasks hands-free. However in the event that you don't want to use the intelligent voice assistant, there is a possibility to disable it. In this article, we will take you through the necessary steps to do so.
Deactivate Siri Completely
Go to Settings and scroll down to Siri & Search
Toggle off the first two switches "Hey Siri" and Press Side Button for Siri
A message will appear once both switches have been toggled to off and will ask you if you want to Turn Off Siri. Click on this to confirm. Siri is now de-activated.
