The Vertical Ruler Missing in LibreOffice

Ask a question
LibreOffice offers a free alternative to paid software suites such as Microsoft Office. It features all the tools to create and edit your documents, including Word Processor, Spreadsheets, and Database.

When creating or editing documents with LibreOffice Writer, you'll noticed that the vertical ruler, which enables you to align text, tables, or pictures, is missing from the interface.

This feature is disabled by default in LibreOffice Writer. Fortunately, it can be restored in a couple of easy steps.

How To Enable the Vertical Ruler in LibreOffice Writer

Click on Tools > Options > View. Tick the Ruler checkbox and then activate the Horizontal and Vertical rulers:

LibreOffice also enables you to change the default measurement units for your rulers.
