Disable Touchpad When Mouse is Connected in Windows 10

You can configure Windows 10 to automatically disable the touchpad of your laptop when a mouse is connected. You can toggle this option on/off under your Mouse & touchpad settings.

Automatically Disable Touchpad When a Mouse is Plugged In

Click on Start > Settings and then navigate to Device > Mouse & touchpad > Touchpad section. Toggle the Leave touchpad on when a mouse is connected option Off:
N.B. This setting is only available on laptops equipped with Precision Touchpads.
