How To Download Videos with the YouTube App

Open the YouTube app and browse for the desired video. Once found, tap on the Download button displayed below the video playback screen:

Select your download settings (Low, Medium, or HD) and tap on OK to proceed:

Tick the Remember my settings checkbox to use the same download settings for your other videos.

How To View Offline Videos

Open the YouTube app and then tap on the Account tab > Available offline > Saved videos:

N.B. Offline videos can only be viewed with YouTube's built-in video player.

How To Configure Your Default Download Settings

Tap on the Menu button > and head to Settings > Offline > Save Offline to configure your download settings:

Tap on Video quality to configure your default download settings.

Tap on Clear Offline to delete downloaded videos and free up some storage space on your device.
