How To Turn Off Video AutoPlay on Twitter

Twitter, the micro blogging platform, automatically plays the videos as you scroll through your timeline and somehow compels you to watch content you didn't initially plan on watching. This tutorial will walk you through the different steps involved in disabling video auto-play on the web-based and mobile versions of Twitter.
Open your web browser and sign-in to Twitter. Click on Profile & Settings > Settings and then navigate to Account settings > Content > Video Tweets. Clear the Video Autoplay checkbox and click on Save Changes:
Open the Twitter app and head to the Me tab. Tap on the cog icon > Settings > General > Video Autoplay. Select Never play videos automatically. You can read the instructions on how to disable video auto-play on Android in our article Android - Turn Off Video Autoplay on Twitter.
