Recent Trending Tweets with Twitter Highlights

The Twitter app comes with a small feature called Highlights, which is meant to help users of the micro-blogging platform catch up with the most recent trending tweets. Furthermore, the tweets displayed in Highlights are tailored to meet individual preferences of the user. Here's how to set up and use Twitter Highlights on your Android smartphone. Tap on the overflow (ellipsis) menu > Highlights. Here, you will find all the interesting tweets for the day (displayed as cards):

You can navigate through the tweets by swiping your finger (horizontally) across your screen. The Twitter app can be configured to send highlights via push notifications. Go to Settings > Notifications > Mobile notifications and tick the Highlights checkbox:
