Windows - Change the format of the clock






To change the display format of the time follow the steps below

Windows Vista

  • In Windows, click the Start button
  • Click Control Panel, click on Clock, Language, and Region.
  • Click Regional and Language Options.
  • Click Customize this format.
  • In the Time tab, do one of the following:
  • To set the 24-hour format, select HH: mm: ss
  • To set the 12-hour format, select hh: mm: ss tt

Windows XP

  • In Windows, click the Start button
  • In Control Panel, click Regional Options, date, time and language.
  • Click Regional and Language Options.
  • Click Customize.
  • In the Time tab, do one of the following:
  • To set the 24-hour format, select HH: mm: ss
  • To set the 12-hour format, select hh: mm: ss tt
