Each time that a
Windows PC is restarted, the system requests password verification to ensure the security of its users. While this security feature is reassuring for many users, others find it tedious to have to enter their passwords each time the system reboots. Luckily, there is a very simple solution that can simplify the process while still ensuring the safety and security of the system contents.
The following article will explain how to assign a PIN to your Windows computer. This solution will allow users to unlock their PCs quickly and easily.
Head to the
Start menu, and click
Settings >
Accounts.
In the lefthand menu, click
Sign-in options. In the righthand menu that opens, scroll to
PIN, and select the
Add option.
The system will prompt you to verify your identity by entering in your Windows credentials. Type in your information, and then click
OK.
You may now choose and set your PIN. Once your PIN is set, you will be able to login to your computer by simply entering your code.
