Checking your plan’s usage
is the best way to ensure that you don’t incur additional fees on your next bill or run out of service before the end of your billing cycle. AT&T
allows customers to easily track their usage via their My AT&T account online or via SMS. This article will provide an overview of each. Unfortunately, AT&T notes that there could be a delay of 2 to 5 days for data to be correctly located online.
Usage by SMS
To receive a simple overview of your text and data usage, dial *DATA#
. For additional details and analysis on your usage, check online with your My AT&T account.
You must call from the mobile device for which you are requesting information.
Check Usage Online
AT&T makes it easy for customers to access and view their plan usage online via the My AT&T
website. To access your information from the website, go to the My AT&T
website and log in with your user credentials. Go to Usage
to find your current stats. If you have multiple devices on your service plan, first go to My Wireless
and, then, select See all my usage
to see your summary.
