Changing your voicemail password will help you to keep your messages secure. For Verizon customers, there are two options that exist for you to reset your password: by accessing your My Verizon account online or by calling the automated service desk. This article will help you complete the process.

Change Your Password on My Verizon Online

To change your voicemail password online, go to the My Verizon login page and enter your account credentials to access your account. Go to My Devices, select Account Overview, and then, select the line that you wish to modify. Under Manage My Device, select Manage Voicemail Password. Enter your new password in the Create New Password field, and then, click Confirm.

Change Your Password by Calling

Verizon allows you to change your voicemail password by calling the automated customer support line. To get started, dial *611 and select 2 to manage your voicemail password. Next, press 1 to reset the password. You will be asked to enter your zip code from your billing address, for security. Then, follow the remaining instructions to finish changing your Verizon voicemail password.
