offers two-step verification
to help you keep your account safe by adding an extra layer of protection for your online login. Two-step verification will require you to pass an additional verification when singing in to your My T-Mobile account online. This could be a security question or an SMS code. Here is how to enable or disable 2-step verification
from your My T-Mobile account online.
Turn On 2-Step Verification Online
To get started, go to the My T-Mobile website
and enter your account credentials to access your account. Next, go to Profile
, and select T-Mobile ID
. Find 2-Step Verification
and turn it On
. Once you activate it, you will have to decide if you would like to use your security question or to receive a confirmation PIN via SMS.
Once activated for the first time, there is a 24-hour window before your account can be accessed. After that, you will be able to access your account using the 2-step verification protection.
