How To Check if Aadhaar Card Number Is Linked to Bank Account

If you are an Indian citizen, it is very important that you link your Aadhaar card number with your bank account. Many private banks have already started the process of updating the information. If you have not updated it, read this article to find how you can check whether your bank account is linked to your Aadhaar card number.

Linking Your Aadhaar Card with Bank Account

To link your Aadhaar card with your bank account, start by dialing *99*99*1# on your phone's keypad. This phone must be connected to an Indian phone number for this number to work.

Next, click Call.

USSD Codes options will, then, appear onscreen. Select Aadhaar Linking Status by dialing 1 in the reply box and clicking SEND:

Then, enter your 12-digit Aadhaar card number, and click SEND:

All of the bank accounts linked with your Aadhaar card will appear on the screen. If no information appears, it means that the account is not connected with the Aadhaar database.
