The Aadhaar Card
is one of the most important government documents in India, as the high court of India has declared it as a constitutionally valid piece of identification. It is required to be linked with your PAN card, to be provided while filing the income taxes, and is mandatory to receive any government subsidies. If you have not received it after applying and having your application approved, you can simply download your Aadhaar card online.
Download E-Aadhaar Card Online
To download your e-Aadhaar card, visit the official UIDAI
site. On the screen, fill in the Enrolment ID/Aadhaar Number, full name, pin code, and security code fields.
You should have received the above information while applying for the card.
Then, click Request OTP
You should have received a one-time password by text message. Enter it, and click the Validate & Download
As the Aadhaar card PDF is protected by a password, you will need to enter the first four letters of your name in all capital letters followed by your birth year to access it:
