How To Link SBI Account with Aadhaar Card Online

The Indian government has made it mandatory to link a bank account with Aadhaar card of its holder. The customer can visit their nearest bank branch for it. The SBI bank account holder can also link the Aadhaar card by following a smart online process.

Link SBI Account with Aadhaar Card

Log in to the SBI netbanking portal. Click on the e-Services option:


It opens a dropdown menu. Click on the Link your Aadhaar Number option:


Next, enter Profile Password and click the Submit button:


Select the account you want to link with the Aadhaar card under Transaction Accounts. Enter the 12-digit Aadhaar Number, confirm it in the Confirm Aadhaar Number box, and click the Submit button:


The customer will receive a One Time Password (OTP) at the registered mobile number. Enter the OTP in the box and click the Confirm button:


The request for linking the bank account with Aadhaar card will be registered with the concerned authorities:



The customer will receive an official message on registered mail ID about succesful linking with the SBI bank account.
