Track Aadhaar Card Usage
Visit the UIDAI official site
. Click the Aadhaar Authentication History
Next, enter the 12-digit Aadhaar card number in Enter UID
, captcha in Enter Security Code
and click the Generate OTP
Next, choose All
from the dropdown menu in Authentication Type
box, select the date range, and enter 50
in the Number of Records
The user has to enter the one time password received on the registered phone number. in the OTP
box and click the Submit
The screen displays the usage details of the Aadhaar card. The information provided on this window will be in encrypted form, hence it might not be clearly understood by the user. However, the user can verify whether the card has been misused or not by tallying the dates of usage on the website:
If the records do not match then there is a possibility that there has been a misuse. According to the government, the Aadhaar card data is absolutely secure and there are no possibilities of its misuse.
