How to Make Payment with Paytm Wallet
To make a payment with Paytm Wallet, launch the Paytm app and click the Pay
icon on the home screen:
Here, you will have two options to make the payment. You can either type in the phone number of the person who is receiving the payment or scan their QR code. If you use a phone number, make sure that it is linked to a Paytm Wallet account:
Next, the interface will show the name that is registered with the phone number or QR code. Enter the payment amount that you want to send:
In case of insufficient funds in your wallet, a low balance notification will appear at the bottom. To bypass this, click Add Rs 10 & Pay
to add the amount to your wallet:
Next, select the payment method that you will use to recharge your Paytm wallet:
The payment will be made automatically after you add the money to your Paytm wallet. A confirmation message will appear on the screen, showing the name, phone number, and the transaction ID:
Paytm does not charge any additional money on transactions made via its wallet service and gives cash-back and other rewards, as well as coupons on every transaction.
