You have found a file called hiberfil.sys at the following location C:\hiberfil.sys?

This is a temporary file created by Windows to store the state of his memory before your system hibernates.

You will also notice that the hiberfil.sys occupies a lot of disk space. To get rid of this file, simply disable the hibernation feature:
  • Control Panel > Power Options > Hibernate.

You can also disable hibernation via the command prompt:
  • Click on Start > Run.
  • Type "cmd" and press CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER (to open an elevated command prompt).
  • Type the below command:
    powercfg -h off
