Regsvr32 - Save a DLL

To save a DLL or control under Vista, a little manipulation is needed.
  • Log in as administrator.
  • Click Start
  • In Search field, type CMD
  • Right click on the command prompt icon and select "Run as administrator".
  • The synthax for the Regsvr32 command is as fillows:
  • REGSVR32 name_of _DLL.dll
  • If the DLL is located in the System32 directory, you don't need to specify the directory.
