How to delete/disable Dr. Watson Debugger?

Dr. Watson Postmortem Debugger is a very common error debugger program found in Windows XP. It simply gathers information about all errors which occurs in your system.

You will sometimes get an error message from Dr. Watson Debugger which will freeze the system

To Disable Dr. Watson Debugger

  • Log in Administrator account in Windows XP
  • Click Start > RUN
  • Type:

Drwtsn32
  • Press Enter to open the Dr. Watson window configuration
  • Simply uncheck all the boxes in the Option side
  • Click OK to finish

To Delete Dr. Watson Debugger

  • Log in Administrator account in Windows XP
  • Click Start > RUN
  • Type CMD and press Enter
  • Type: cd c:\windows\system32
  • Press Enter
  • Type:

del drwtsn32.exe
  • Press Enter which will delte Dr. Watson
