Customize USB Drive Wallpaper on Windows XP


Adding a custom image background to your USB key is a fun and personal way to enhance the look of your pendrive. This article will teach you how to customize the wallpaper of your USB device using a JPG image.

N.B. This article is specific to computers running Windows XP. Open your Notepad and copy and paste the following code into your document:

Save the file as desktop.ini and then copy the file to your USB key.

The next step is to simply copy the photo you'd like to use as wallpaper to your flash drive. Once done, refresh your flash drive. Your new wallpaper should be shown once the folder reloads.
