When you want to access your website locally withChrome, under Linux and you're not connected to internet, then it displays a error message:

Solution

  • To fix this issue, just launch the browser with IPv6 enabled (in a terminal, or a shortcut):
  • google-chrome --enable-ipv6
  • or for chromium:
  • chromium-browser - enable-ipv6
  • From now on, you can access an http://localhost/ even if you are disconnected from the web.
