Is that possible to increase the cache of DNS of a server?

Solution

  • Launch Regedit
  • Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services/Dnscache/ Parameters
  • Create a DWORD and input indicate value in hexadecimal
    • CacheHashTableBucketSize = 00000001
    • CacheHashTableSize = 00000180
    • MaxCacheEntryTtlLimit = 0000fa00

MaxSOACacheEntryTtlLimit = 0000012d
