Excel - Set default width for validation lists

You can configure Excel to make use of minimum width for displaying a list box.Upon the creation of a new sheet:
  • Format a column to the desired minimum width for the display of list.
  • Put in this column a validation list.
  • The width obtained remain in memory as a minimum for all validations list implemented in the leaf.
  • The reference column can then be used in a normal fashion.
