Unable to Open or Format USB Key

If you are having trouble opening or formatting your pen drive, you can fix this problem by reformatting your pen drive from the command prompt. Here's a simple way how. Click on Start > Run, and type
. Click on OK.

Assuming your pen drive letter is K drive, you can enter
format /q /x k:
, followed by Enter. Note that you can replace the k with the applicable drive letter.
