USB Flash drives
or pen drives
have become extremely popular in recent times as they are compact and easy to use. With the increased storage capacity of Flash drives
, users can conveniently fit large data in small hardware. Some users when inserting a flash drive such as Transcend JF v30 4 GB
in a PC
may experience problems
because of the file system format. To solve this error, the Transcend JF v30 4 GB
can be formatted to the FAT32 file system
. The Windows operating system can format the Transcend JF v30 4 GB
only if the FAT32 file system
is clearly selected.
Transcend JF v30 4 GB error
I have a problem, whenever I insert my flash drive and open it my PC says "the disk in drive "H" is not formatted, do you want to format it now?" But when I format it my PC says "windows was unable to finish format". What should I do?
- Try this:
- Click on Start --> Type diskmgmt.msc and click on OK.
- Disk Management will be opened.
- Now right-click on your "Pen drive" --> click on "Format" --> Select the "File system:" as "Fat32" from the drop-down menu --> Click on OK.
