Enabling the VGA mode
can correct the display when the monitor display is upside down
. Graphics cards sometimes have hot keys
or a key combination that can rotate the monitor display upside down
. Usually there is a graphics option for rotation if the graphics card supports such a feature. Another option is to use the CTRL + ALT + ARROW key
of the keyboard to rectify the laptop monitor. However, if the monitor display still remains upside down
, the VGA mode has to be enabled. The VGA mode can be enabled from the Windows Advanced Options
Hello, my monitor display has turned upside down - I've been looking around and lots of people suggest ctrl+alt+arrow but this doesn't work. I also tried to find rotation in the graphics options but it doesn't seem to be there - it's a Toshiba laptop with Windows XP I think. Help!!
- When you switch ON your laptop, start tapping the "F8" key to get "Windows Advanced Options" (if the boot menu appears, press "Esc" key and keep tapping the F8 key)
- Select the option "Enable VGA Mode".
