Where is the SATA port?

I just bought a CD burner to replace the old one, which no longer works. But when I try to install it (ps: this is the first time I open the hood of my computer), I realize that SATA is new while the old one was IDE. I have to connect the SATA power cable: I think I found it. it falls within one of the forms which was connected to the old drive where I block is to connect to the sata from what I read, I should be able to connect directly to a SATA port on the motherboard, but my concern is that I do not see anything like it ... the motherboard is so huge, maybe I do not look to the right place? Could anyone help me?

  • On the motherboard is the largest e-card in your case, everything is linked above (HDD, graphics card, proc + ventillator ect ect)

http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/SATA (a port is about 1.5 cm by 0.5) if you have any, they are generally all together (groups of 2 to 8 ports)
