I want to get into my old Fujitsu laptop and copy files to my new pc laptop but after turning on fine the 1st time and the screen going bad I shut it off. When I tried again I get the pc beep and the screen goes black after I see the Fujitsu logo screen. F8 has not worked and cant get to Task Mgr cause the screen goes black too soon. Im not using a battery as this is one of those laptops with bad batteries and I have gone thru 2 and now just plug in direct to the wall.
Any ideas? It looks like I should just take it into a shop and remove the HD's and get the data but I would sure like to solve this myself.
