Headphone jack on laptop doesn't work

Hi, headphone jack on my pc is acting strange... if I connect headphones to my laptop before I start him up the headphones are working normally but if I disconnect them from laptop when he is running and I connect them back they are not working at all... I tried 3 different headphones, nothing works :( what can I do I tried to update the drivers and nothing...
