Remove write protection from a USB

Hello,





I'm trying to remove write protection from an USB drive but just doesn't allow me. I've tryed the regedit and the diskpart command and doesn't work noone of those two. Help please.

Those two fixes only work if you have a virus that changed the Registry.

I suspect you have a failed drive. To confirm I suggest you test using a second computer.

Well thanks for answer, I've tried the USB in another PC and still with write protection. I've even tried a method that I didn't know: with a software named ChipGenius I've found something like a serial, and searched for that 'serial' something what seems to be the original firmware or something like that... but until now nothing happens... Is there another effective way? Thanks again for answer.

I suspect the error is the result of a hardware error in the memory module of the flash drive. The USB interface/memory interface sometimes returns a write protection error when it fails to complete a write request.

So, it should be checked by someone with enough knowledge to do that... ? ..or just doesn't work anymore?
