Not Enough RAM 'integer' issue

Hello,

So I know this problem has been solved already, however...
When I try to go in to my performance settings to fix it? This box comes up to say that an integer between 96 and 8 must be entered, and will not go away, or allow me in to the settings themselves.
Is there a way to manually change the performance settings? Because I can not get past the general settings screen without it screaming at me about this 'integer' issue.
