If you look on the printer does it say it's connected to wifi?
The most likely problem is your printer was set up with IP address X but the printer has got IP address Y.
How did you add your printer? Did you use the CD or did you manually add it?
You would be better off deleting your printer from Start > Control Panel > Device and Printers
go to HP Support here
and press PRINTER
enter your model number (Found on the printer) select your OS and you want to download the FULL INSTALLER
which is typically between 100-300Mb.
Run through this installer and it will say "how is this printer connected" - You will select WIFI.
it will go off and find your printer then you'll select the printer.
it may ask if the printer needs setting up (assumes you've got it out the box) you can say no and complete the installer.
