Dell laptop automatically swithoff in 1 minute

Hello,
Dell laptop automatically swithoff in 1 minute.

It's 8years old. Never got any repair until now.
Kept laptop idle for more than 8 months now replaced with new battery. Now when I switch on it gets started but in 2 minutes it is automatically switched off.
What could be the issue and how to fix it.
Please ??
