I understand the reasoning behind Facebook requiring the photo ID verification, but how long will this take? We are now in the 3 week of waiting on FB approval.

I’m attempting to help my 88 year old mom, and she is beside herself because she can’t keep up with her grand and great grand children and her account is locked.

Is there anything I can do to speed this up?

Thank you
Although we have nothing to do with it, we understand it as a first in , first out. So if we scale the work, we figure it will take about 1183 days! :) HEHE JK!

But, lets do the math.

Given:
You are last in line
.05% of users are having the same issue
There are 1.5 billion Facebook users
Workers work 24/7.
on any one 24 hour shift, 50 workers clear the pool.
it takes 20 minutes to clear any 1 issue.

How long does it take?

Be patient...that is the point! Hopefully they have more than 50 on a 24 hour cycle!

Thank you
Still nothing from Facebook. Is feasible to report the account as hacked and open a new account? Or is there a better alternative?

Perhaps your mother can use another way to communicate such as email ? Is the account locked or disabled? What is the message when you mom tries to login. Opening a second account may be counterproductive as the Terms of Use forbid two accounts hence both accounts be get disabled.

Thank you
She can log in but immediately receives the “Let’s confirm your identity..........your account is locked”. We’ve submitted her drivers license numerous times (this goes back to early May), and have gotten the “Thank you for submitting your ID” and nothing else.

The only suggestion I have is to delete all temporary files and cookies, wait 24 hours and try again.

Good luck
