It was my kid done something on the laptop and it changed all the shortcut to *.lnk.

He was so sad and afraid i got angry.

I kept calm and googling and found your link.

It solved the problem and you saved the kid!

Thank you it really worked. if your run has also lnk extension then just type regedit in the start menu
