"sorry, we don't recognise this email address"

So, I created a new yahoo email address for the very important task of a Visa application for my husband to join me in the UK. I have used the email address and it is the email address we have given to the Home Office to contact us regarding his application. Today Yahoo is saying "sorry, we don't recognise this email address". There seems to be no way to contact Yahoo. What the heck is going on? This process is already stressful enough without having this happen too...I need to forward my husband an email from the account ASAP.
