Laptop has stopped charging

Hello,
My relatively new laptop has stopped charging. The twelve volt
DC cable was inserted and it flash three times and momentarily showed it was charging then it went off.
I don't think it's repairable because the motherboard is so small and all the parts are embedded so I am looking for a new board instead.
Who can help me on what I can do about this problem
