I installed Bookmark by Date. Now how do I sort by date?

After clicking on the icon that it said to click on to use the feature, and nothing happened except that the icon totally vanished, so I had to go looking for it and found it in this thing called "extensions" but when I clicked on that it vanished again and was replaced with a small box saying "Saved Windows (41 tabs) (and then a large number)" So I went back and this time I tried the 3 dots and all that did was bring me to the Chrome Store.

I would think that something called "Bookmark by Date" would have a feature that allows you to sort your bookmarks by date.
