Whatsapp restore problem

I have an issue with my whats app restore:

It doesnt show the size of the restore and keeps saying to check my internet connection, which is perfectly fine

I would upload a photo but am not a member, it looks something like this

Also side note does anyone know how to change which email address the whatsapp restore takes the backup from?
