Changing contact profile photo

Hello,
I have a specific contact that from my weird reasons i don't like to see his whattap profile picture.
I've try to go to contact profile- choose edit, but it is take me to my local cellphone phonebook and when i choose other picture it doesn't change on whattap, only on the device phonebook.

Please help.
